Placement test for English courses

Cornelsen Publishing has worked together with the WBT to develop an online placement test for English. People interested in taking an English course can sit in front of the computer at the VHS or in the comfort of their own home and take a 20 minute test which will place them at the appropriate level according to the Common European Framework.

 The paper version of the placement tests covers the First Choice coursebooks A1 to B1 (including Fast courses). You can choose between two tests: one for the levels A1/A2 and one for level B1. Each test consists of two parts: a short written test, with a handy answer sheet for quick marking, followed by an oral test. The tests are simple to carry out and recommend which First Choice unit the candidate should begin with at the level tested.
