Business English can be Quick Work!; Mitsprache
Research in key markets - France, Germany, the US, and the UK - has for some time been indicating that there is a need for shorter published Business English courses. Many courses are intensive or semi-intensive, lasting one or two weeks: a typical weekly allocation of time is 25 to 30 hours. Often, there is a clear trend towards reducing the number of contact hours for Business English training with the result that existing coursebooks are frequently too long or unwieldy to be used effectively. Teachers therefore tend to 'cherry pick', or mix and match where necessary, which is always time-consuming and leads to inconsistency in style and quality of course materials.
