Task 4: Take action
A lot of different environmentalist groups organize international letter writing campaigns to help communities prevent many kinds of environmental destruction.
You can help them and either write a letter or e-mail to a company. But before you do this, have a look at the following website which gives you useful tips on how to write a polite, positive, informed letter.

If you now want to become an active environmentalist yourself, the next website will help you. Get together in different groups, have a look at the various campaigns and decide on one campaign you would like to support. Discuss in your group what the aims of the action are and why you would like to write a letter or e-mail. Then start writing your letter or e-mail. But before you send it, ask your teacher to check the content.
