Seeing the sights (3)

Now you want to find out some details about each of the attractions to help you plan your sightseeing!

What to do:

  1. You are going to work in 4 groups (A, B, C, D). Decide who is in your group, and decide if you are group A, B, C or D.
  2. Print out this
    worksheet .
  3. Click on the links below next to the name of your group. Two new windows will open, with more information about the two attractions.
  4. Read the information in these two webpages to answer these questions for each attraction:
    • Is the attraction open all year or not?
    • What's the price of an adult ticket?
    • What's the price of a child ticket?
    • What's the average length of a visit to the attraction?
  5. Write in the information about your attractions (opening times, ticket prices and visit length) in the table on your worksheet, next to the names of your attractions.
  6. Go and speak to the other groups. Ask them for information about their attractions. Write this information in the table. Tell them about your attractions.
  7. Answer the questions at the bottom of this page.

Group A

Houses of Parliament

TIP: There is no information about ticket prices on the Houses of Parliament page, so you don't need to write anything in the "ticket price" boxes on the worksheet.

London Zoo

Group C
