Travelling by tube
Travelling around London can sometimes be difficult. The easiest way is probably to travel by the London Underground
(often called "the Tube"). In this exercise, you're going to practise finding your way around London on the Tube!
1. You are at Victoria station, which is where the Victoria line
(the light blue line) crosses the District line
(the green line) and the Circle line
(the yellow line).
Travel 1 stop north on the Victoria line (the light blue line).
Change to the Piccadilly line (the dark blue line).
Travel 3 stops east.
Where are you?
2. You are at Fulham Broadway station, which is on the District line (the green line) in Zone 2.
Travel 4 stops on the District line (the green line) in the direction of Edgeware Road.
Change to the Central line (the red line).
Travel 5 stops east.
Where are you?
3. You are at Elephant and Castle station, which is at the south end of the Bakerloo line (the dark brown line).
Travel 2 stops north on the Bakerloo line (the dark brown line).
Change to the Jubilee line (the grey line).
Travel 6 stops north (in the direction of Stanmore).
Where are you?
4. You are at Brixton station, which is at the south end of the Victoria line (the light blue line).
Travel 7 stops north on the Victoria line (the light blue line).
Change to the Northern line (the black line).
Travel 3 stops north.
Where are you?
